Grooming

It's kind of a human mind-screw to know that there isn't anything remotely romantic about this. I've heard many explanations for allogrooming now... as a way of gaining favor, strengthening bonds, mixing scents, and now, aggression redirection.

But if there is such thing as a 'cat kiss', I have to say, the closest thing from my experience would have be the headbutt.
