If the SPACE bar is not functioning properly for you, try switching browsers. There doesn't seem to be any one particular browser that works, and I'm really perplexed as to why this is a problem, but upon switching browsers, the problem seems to fix itself.

Another update! I finally figured out how to incorporate difficulty settings. See, my programming is just so convoluted that it can tend to make things difficult to change later on... anyway, the tutorial explains everything. Thanks goes to , whose comment (which seems to have disappeared now, somehow) gave me the idea.

Also, I just found about Super Ponybeat on YouTube, so I highly recommend checking that stuff out for BG music to this. It's so awesome!

Okay, been updated. I improved the tutorial, and getting storm clouds is a bit easier. The collision detection is placed on the actual hooves now. Also, the immunity after being shocked's much better. You shouldn't get shocked 2-3 times in a row from now on. (Unless your aim is really poor.)

Now, this game is intended to be enjoyed with a thumping beat. (Obviously, I can't insert the music into the game myself for a few reasons, and you'd want to choose it yourself, anyway.) Here are some examples of what I mean:

I wanted to add sound effects as well, but for all the work I put into them, they just ended up being annoying. And as you can see by the game over screen, loud.

Another thing I tried to add was a difficulty setting. Too much pain, too little gain. If you want to add an extra dimension of difficulty, try to max out the score. On reaching 10,000, it will actually spell out 'Max'.
